The Steam store page for Debt Of Life has been localized into fifteen additional languages to reach a broader international audience. The newly supported languages include Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, Hungarian, Indonesian, Malay, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. This expansion applies strictly to the Steam store page and its associated promotional text. It does not indicate that the game itself has been translated into these specific languages.

Prior to this update, the developer had already localized the Steam store page into eleven other languages. These include French, German, Italian, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Thai, and Greek. Additionally, a Japanese version of the store page was made available as a thank you to supporters, although the game itself remained in English at that time.

The developer explicitly clarifies that the recent localization efforts cover only the Steam store page and promotional materials. The full game has not been translated into all of these newly added languages. A source states that while the Steam Store Page for Debt of Life has been made available in Japanese, the game itself is only available in English and a full Japanese version is being worked on.

Game Premise

Debt Of Life is described as a narrative experience where players have very little time left. The core gameplay involves making impossible choices and deciding what one is willing to sacrifice in exchange for one more week of life.

Community Feedback on Translations

The developer has actively solicited community assistance to ensure the accuracy of the newly localized content. In the Steam store page update, the team explicitly asked players who encounter a translation error in any of the fifteen new languages to report it directly. The promotional text and store descriptions have been localized into Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, Hungarian, Indonesian, Malay, Norwegian, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. The Debt Of Life Steam store page is available in 15 additional languages, and users are invited to report translation errors.
